After Janet crossed the finish line of her 100th marathon, pictures, hugs, celebratory kisses and lots of smiles, Janet proceeded to the photo op area. As her friends and I were praising and congratulating her with 100 signs in our hands, a young gentleman appeared and approached Janet. He told her this was his first marathon and that he hoped to meet the lady that was running her 100th marathon. He asked if she would have her picture taken with him. He was proud and so was she. It was a cool moment!
I discovered Kula Yoga & Wellness this week. As per the Kula website:
Kula ('ku:la) - n
1. A community of the heart
2. An intentional gathering of people
I saw they were teaching PiYo so had to try it out. They offer a great trial membership, $25 for two weeks of unlimited classes. So I tried PiYo on Wednesday, T.G.I.Yoga on Friday and Kula Barre Mixer on Sunday. All were great classes and looking forward to attending PiYo again this week. I'm on the wait list for Aerial Basics...oh, so hope someone cancels!
