Way to go! Keep up the good work!
Strong Women Thursday night class - after class a participant was lamenting to me about how her knees and hips just don't work like they used to and how she's had surgery and needs more and she says, "I bet I'm the oldest person in this class." I told her that she's only as old as she feels and as I'm talking she bends over at the waist and touches the floor, raises back up and says I'll be 80 next year. I was shocked, she doesn't look 80 and what flexibility she had. She claimed it was due to her Tai Chi classes.
Way to go! Keep up the good work!

![]() "British Invasion" was the answer. "What music would you like to hear during next week's Strong Women class?" was the question. Oh, my goodness, I had no idea how powerful music was. It totally changed the class atmosphere in Monday night's class. Two ladies afterwards told me how they knew every song I played and how it transcended them back into their earlier days. Ladies were singin', groovin' and tellin' me to turn up the volume. Has music ever made a difference for you? Tell me how it did in the comment section below. These full body workouts can be intense, but you can't help smiling and singing along with the music :) |
